Techna-Duc® is a fully shop-fabricated, four-piece interlocking panel system designed for fast, precise installation with minimal field alterations. Engineered to solve the long-standing issues of traditional insulation systems, Techna-Duc® virtually eliminates water intrusion and air quality problems. The interlocking, aluminum-jacketed panels form a continuous, water-tight shield that prevents moisture and vapor penetration while maintaining superior indoor air quality. Made from closed-cell polyisocyanurate insulation that resists mold and mildew growth, Techna-Duc® prevents performance degradation over time. The result is an exterior duct system that reduces energy consumption, minimizes heating and cooling losses, and delivers a clean, maintenance-free finish that enhances both aesthetics and efficiency.
Techna-Duc® sets the industry standard for exterior duct insulation performance and reliability. The patented, shop-fabricated system is constructed from rigid polyisocyanurate insulation laminated in two layers, delivering thermal properties up to R-16 at 2" thickness and a temperature range from -100°F to +250°F. Each panel is jacketed with .032" aluminum and sealed with a vapor barrier compound, creating a water-tight, triple-sealed system that withstands harsh weather while maintaining long-term thermal integrity.
